No two are the same
Hand-building leaves marks: a speck in the glaze, a pinhole, a slightly uneven colour, a rim that is not perfectly round. We think that is the point. Photos show one mug from this design; yours will be its own.

The blue cat wears a pink bow because the first one was a gift for a friend’s cat who wears one every day. The body is a warm white; the cat is a cool blue-grey that fires slightly darker on the tail.

Where are the mugs made?
In our small studio in Chongqing, China. qiuqiu and Lisa build every mug by hand, paint it, glaze it and fire it here.
How big is a mug?
About 350 ml / 11.8 fl oz, the size of a regular coffee mug. Each page shows measurements and a photo in the hand.
Will mine look exactly like the photo?
No two are the same. Hand-building leaves small marks: a speck, a pinhole, a slightly uneven glaze or a wobbly rim. That is the point, and it is not a defect.
How do I care for it?
Hand wash recommended. Avoid sudden temperature changes, like pouring boiling water into a cold mug.
Who pays duties and taxes?
United States: we do, the price you see is what you pay. Australia: no import tax on orders under A$1,000. Canada: Canada Post may collect tax and a handling fee on delivery.
What if it arrives broken?
Send us a photo within 7 days and we replace it or refund you. You do not need to ship anything back.
Can I return a mug?
Numbered mugs: yes, within 30 days, unused, and you cover shipping both ways. Custom mugs: no returns, they were made for your cat.
How does a drop work?
We post the date. People on the list can claim a mug 24 hours early. When it opens, pick a numbered mug, fill the short form, and we send you a PayPal invoice within 24 hours. The mug is held for you for 24 hours.
Do you ship to my country?
Right now: the United States (duties included), Australia and Canada. The UK opens once our tax registration there is done; the EU is not on the list yet. Join the list and tell us your country. That is how we decide what opens next.
Why $100?
Each mug is pinched, built, painted and fired by two people in Chongqing, then packed by hand and shipped across the world with duties paid where we can. We make 15 to 20 numbered mugs a month. The price covers that, not a factory line.
