Where we ship and what it costs
- United States — $28 shipping, duties included, 5–12 business days.
- Australia — $15 shipping, 7–15 business days.
- Canada — $16 shipping, 10–20 business days.

Duties and taxes
United States: duties are included in the shipping price. The price you see at checkout is what you pay. Australia: no import tax on orders under A$1,000. Canada: Canada Post may collect GST/HST and a handling fee when it delivers.
How long it takes
Numbered mugs ship within 3 business days of payment. Custom mugs take 3 to 4 weeks to make, then ship. Transit times are listed above; customs can add a few days.
Packing
Each mug goes in its own box with a fitted insert, wrapped so the tail handle cannot touch the walls. Two mugs travel in two boxes.
If it arrives broken
Send a photo of the mug and the box within 7 days. We replace it in the next drop or refund you in full, your choice. You do not have to ship anything back.
Returns
Numbered mugs: within 30 days of delivery, unused, in the original box. You pay shipping both ways and we refund the mug. Custom mugs: no returns; they were made for your cat.
Payment
PayPal, in US dollars. During drops we send an invoice within 24 hours of your claim. Card payment through PayPal works without a PayPal account.

Where are the mugs made?
In our small studio in Chongqing, China. qiuqiu and Lisa build every mug by hand, paint it, glaze it and fire it here.
How big is a mug?
About 350 ml / 11.8 fl oz, the size of a regular coffee mug. Each page shows measurements and a photo in the hand.
Will mine look exactly like the photo?
No two are the same. Hand-building leaves small marks: a speck, a pinhole, a slightly uneven glaze or a wobbly rim. That is the point, and it is not a defect.
How do I care for it?
Hand wash recommended. Avoid sudden temperature changes, like pouring boiling water into a cold mug.
Who pays duties and taxes?
United States: we do, the price you see is what you pay. Australia: no import tax on orders under A$1,000. Canada: Canada Post may collect tax and a handling fee on delivery.

How does a drop work?
We post the date. People on the list can claim a mug 24 hours early. When it opens, pick a numbered mug, fill the short form, and we send you a PayPal invoice within 24 hours. The mug is held for you for 24 hours.
How long does a custom mug take?
3 to 4 weeks to make, then shipping. We confirm your cat's colours and name before we start.
My cat is white, or has a short tail. Can you still make one?
Yes. A white cat gets a painted background so it stands out on the white clay. A short or kinked tail becomes a shorter handle with a painted flourish. Very complex coats get simplified, and we tell you before you pay.
Do you make dogs or other animals?
Not yet. The tail handle is built around a cat's body, and a dog-friendly shape is still on the workbench. Join the list and we will say when it exists.
We have more than one cat.
One cat per mug is the default; a second cat on the same mug is +$30, placed around the body. Or order one mug per cat.
Do you ship to my country?
Right now: the United States (duties included), Australia and Canada. The UK opens once our tax registration there is done; the EU is not on the list yet. Join the list and tell us your country. That is how we decide what opens next.
Why $100?
Each mug is pinched, built, painted and fired by two people in Chongqing, then packed by hand and shipped across the world with duties paid where we can. We make 15 to 20 numbered mugs a month. The price covers that, not a factory line.
